Today I went to the OB. It was the last appointment the secretary had scheduled for me. (Originally, it was to be tomorrow on my DUE DATE, but he’s not in the office then.) So I’m one day away from my due date, and labour does not seem imminent. Dr. G says, “Still pregnant eh?” [...]

I went to see Dr. G again. I almost forgot to give a sample. As usual, my proteins were fine. The secretary weighed me and said I’d only gained 1 lb. Woo hoo! The swab came back negative, so I don’t need antibiotics via IV during labour/birth. I think I had 2 questions for him, [...]

Today was my last appointment every two weeks – I have to see Dr. G every week now. Things are still going well. Dr. G didn’t even have any complaints about my weight. I seriously don’t like their scale. I think I’ve figured out how it works, and it puts me at least 10 lbs [...]

I forgot to mention that yesterday at the chiro’s office, Janice made her prediction about the baby. She was very specific about it. Janice thinks it will be a baby boy, 7 lbs, 3 oz. Her prediction spurred Dr. Dean to give his opinion. He thinks it will be a baby girl, 7 lbs, 8 [...]
