Baby has pretty good head/neck control. He looks around at everything when he’s in a different place. He is desparately trying to sit up. He can shake his links on his own. He loves a giraffe hand puppet, and Daddy thinks Baby thinks giraffe’s nose is a nipple, as Baby likes to gnaw on it. [...]

Jeremy wouldn’t settle for very long tonight. He barely slept or napped all day. I think the last nap ended at about 4 pm, and the day sort of , (but not completely), went downhill from there. Jeremy was having a very fussy evening. At least he wasn’t crying and screeching like that other time. [...]

I’ve started posts similar to this twice. I think they are still sitting in my drafts folder. The basic gist of this is every so often, pregnancy hormones are not fun. In fact, at times I feel like they are making me crazy. I’m losing patience so easily at times. My day started off pretty [...]

Tonight when I was starting to eat dinner, I was starting to feel weird and very uncomfortable. I visited the bathroom, and came downstairs. Laying down on the couch relaxing, with my mom rubbing my feet, I just felt “off”. Even in such a position, I wasn’t feeling very good. I didn’t feel like finishing [...]

Dr. Gilmour asked if I think I’m retaining water. I reply, no, I don’t think so. He claims I’ve gained 7 lbs since my last appointment two weeks ago. I snuck a peek at my chart while he wrote something down. It has me listed as 174 lbs!!! I don’t think so! Although, my belly [...]

If you thought peeing yourself when you coughed, sneezed or whatever was the weirdest thing that could happen to you during pregnancy, you’re wrong. You know how you vaguely realize the slight urge to pee has suddenly turned into a pee-mergency. So you rush to the bathroom to seek relief, and ahhhhhh… Much better. Only [...]

that the nausea is gone, and it’s safe to try going to bed, you realize you have heart burn. Yay! On a related note, I’ve finished 1 bottle of Tums. I have two more on the go – one I just opened, and one that is missing maybe 1/5 of the antacids. I’m so tired [...]

I went to work today feeling fine. I was a bit tired & whatnot, but okay. I was ravenously hungry around 11:00, so I ate my hop & go bar slowly. Ann sent me to lunch around 12:30. I ate my usual – blueberry yogurt, my main dish & started on my raspberries. Halfway through [...]

What a/an (oxy)moron! Seriously. On Sunday, when I was on my way home from Collingwood with the girls, (Rosa, Sophia, & Priscilla), we went to Vaughan Mills. I was excited because I’d heard that H & M in Vaughan Mills carries a maternity line, H & M Mama. I’m not sure if I blogged about [...]

On Tuesday, October 27th, I had my third appointment with Dr. Gilmour. In no particular order, I gave a pee sample, he took my blood pressure, we listened to the baby’s heart beat, and he took my weight. He commented on the fact that I had quite a jump in my weight in the past [...]
