First, I had to reaccquaint myself with this site & what I last wrote.  I added my official 22 week belly shot on October 23rd.

I can’t tell a lie, (well 99.9% of the time), I can do so if necessary, like to not reveal a surprise or to avoid hurting someone’s feelings unneccessarily.  So I have to tell the truth about my 22nd week picture.  Uh, technically that shot should be my 23rd week one.  It was taken minutes before I posted it that Friday.

Thursday is the day I’ve been counting as the first day of my new week, and traditionally pics were taken on a Friday in the beginning.  I’m not getting tired of taking the pictures exactly.  I’m not even forgetting, most of the time.  I’m getting tired of asking my photographer, aka daddy-to-be, to take shots of me & my belly.   He isn’t the most willing participant, which bums me out a little.  He’ll come after making me wait a bit, roll his eyes & look really bored.  If the cats wander by, he’ll snap pictures of them enthusiastically.

Seriously, all I’d like him to do is take my picture every Friday from a few different angles.  It’s not a new thing.  It doesn’t even take that long.  I shouldn’t even have to ask by this point, but I still do.  So, a few times I’ve delayed asking because I’d hoped he’d bring it up.  And he didn’t, so I gave him some more time.   And still he failed to think of it on his own.  So not all my pictures were taken on a Friday, but at least there is one in some shape or form every week.   (In his defence, he was fairly busy at work pretty much since we discovered Little Bean’s existance, so that could account for his lack of forethought each week.)

Then once week 21 had passed by, I realized I had no proper belly shot.  I sort of salvaged a picture from Thanksgiving dinner at my mom’s house.  Week 22 passed, and the same thing happened, so I faked it a week later.

I just corrected the error in the previous post so it now says week 23.  Yay!  I feel a little better about my deception.  (I’m sure nobody really cares about this but me.)  And i did find a few pictures that were taken in week 22, so we’re all square there.  Phew!  Now I just have to work on getting this week’s photos taken tomorrow.  My photographer is sick, so I think I’ll have to use the old self timer for those puppies.
